I walk to my locker, and there is Mariella, standing right by it, tapping her foot."Mariella." I say as I open my locker."Hey Ouralee." She says. "So, I hung out with Nick this weekend.""Mhm." I mutter, trying to tune her out."Yeah, I told him about your crazy obsession."I stare at her intencly. "I am not obsessed." I say through gritted teeth.Mariella laughs. "That's hilarious." She trails off. "But anyways... he told me that he thinks thats a bit creepy and that you should just get over it, because you will never have him.""Thanks for informing me," I say bitterly."You don't believe me?" She says, taking her phone out of her pocket. "If you don't believe me, I can call him right now and he can tell you himself.""I believe you, now get away from me!" I scream at her."Wow, bitchy." She says. I slam my locker as she walks away."Urgggh!" I scream."Someone's freaking out..." Landon says and leans on my locker."That Mariella!" I say. "How are you friends with her?""I'm not really friends with her, I'm just friends with her friends. I accually can't stand her...""I seriously thought you were good friends...""You seriously thought we were friends?! She's totally rude to Blayne...""I have a question," I say, curious. "Why do you defend Blayne? Most guys just like laugh at him, or don't even want to be friends with him because he's gay...""Follow me," He says quickly and walks fast outside to the courtyard. I run after him and he sits on a bench right by the door. I sit next to him."Ouralee..." He starts. He looks nervous. "I'm gay... and I like Blayne.""Wha..Wha... WHAT?!" I scream in happiness."Shh!" He says, freaking out. "I don't really want anyone else to know. You're the first person I've ever told. But I came to talk to you because I wanted to know why Blayne has been avoiding me...""He's avoiding you because he has a super huge crush on you and he was about 100% sure you were straight... obviously he was wrong...""Yeah, way off." Landon laughs."You should like... ask him out... like... today!" I squeal in excitement."I can't. You're the first person I've told. My mom doesn't even know I'm gay."The one minute bell rings."We'll talk about this later." I say and get up from the bench."Okay." Landon says. "And... Thanks." He smiles.I smile back and walk back inside.
