The resistance 3 storyline........... (c)Copyright 2008 Evilscotsman999Millions of years ago the Chimera ruled and prospered on Earth which was all theirs. Then another race came and started war with the Chimera, as stated in intel document #20. The Chimera could not win, and fled the Earth and left only ruins. They all disappeared as time went by. Then Malikov made a startling discovery and injected Hale and Jordan Shepherd with Chimeran DNA. The virus in shepherd mutated into a powerful Chimeran lord, Daedalus. Hale's virus was contained, for now. Daedalus went around activating the towers, which when activated + sent a signal to the Chimera that left Earth millions of years ago to come back. This is what Daedalus meant by "Can you hear them? They're calling to us. It's beautiful!" meaning he was communicating with his own kind. He also started the Hybrid creation in the towers that grew to become a well enforced army. When Daedalus's body (shepherd) was killed he chose a new body, Nathan Hale. At the end of the game you see an alien planet moving closer to Earth, in which Hale and Capelli are watching from. It was not the moon, for we could see the moon directly left of the alien planet. Hale is not dead. Hale was still human, Daedalus was a Chimeran overlord; of course he wouldn't die. If Hale had evolved into a superior Chimeran being like at the last scene, then it might take a little more than 1 shot to the head to kill him. Hale might be still alive, and Daedalus gone for now. Resistance 3, from the looks of it is the Humans fighting either a planet of Chimera, or the planet of Chimera PLUS some new alien race. Now there's a story for ya!Game due out 2010. Insomniac games has major plans.
