PART 1 - It's clear that Noah still loves Luke, he just doesn't like or respect him. This is a common problem near the end of many relationships. But I agree with many of you, the writers have not explained Noah's draconian reaction. There's really nothing more Luke can now do to atone for his fraudulent actions. Kevin has won the election, and Luke has lost virtually everything (possibly even the foundation if ATWT is realistic). The only thing I would demand of Luke now is to apologize to Kevin face-to-face, and hopefully form a friendship. This, of course, would not help with Noah since he is a bit jealous of Kevin. The question is what Noah wants Luke to do. Or is there no hope?

Jan 9, 2009 - > How can they get them back together?There are many different rumors floating around but one thing viewers should keep in mind is that Jake Silbermann doesn't have a contract. That allows him the freedom of leaving whenever he wants, but it also allows the writers to eliminate the role without cause, i.e. a sudden unexpected accident. Van, on the other hand, is in his second 3 year contract.

Jan 9, 2009 - Lol. I admit, Luke's being a jerk, it's very true. And the bulk of these problems are his own making. However I have no idea where this arrogant, holier than thou attitude is coming from in Noah. Of anyone, he should be the first to forgive Luke, considering he did equally amoral and illegal things back when he married Ameera to keep her in the U.S. But I'm getting the distinct impression that Noah's one of those people who knows when its over, but likes to torture with the possibility of hope.
