More pop than a freshly gripped 7-ply skate deck. From mini shred jersey jumps, to triple kink urban ledges, the skate-style Dominant™ will make you jump for joy like you just found the rainbro's proverbial pot o' gold. With the endless pop of Infinite Ride™, buttery flex of the Park Fly™ core, and the bite-free Rail Ready™ tune, you might wonder where the trucks and wheels go, cause this thing's pretty much a skateboard for snow.http://www.porterstahoe.com/

Jan 9, 2009 - i would recomend a 154 thats what i have
itsmejmre Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - i thought a smaller board would be better if you want it easy to spin and jib a lot?

Jan 9, 2009 - i have this board size 150 08 large cartels and burton motos it is insane!!!!! BEST BOARD!!
PortersLars Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - you gotta qualify your self... whats your height and weight since what works for you might not work best for someone else
PortersLars Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - it all depends again on height and weight... but yes a smaller board will be easier to spin and jib but if you start hittin 50ft booters a small stick will not be so fun....
PortersLars Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - you have your pick... you could go as small as a 150 but if you are hitting booters you might want to size up one to a 154... a 156 might start feeling stiff.
PortersLars Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - yeah a 150 would work for you, you could even ride a 146 if you are mainly doing rails but a 150 might be more stable for booters as well.

Jan 9, 2009 - yo what do u recommend for me im 6'2 155pounds
PortersLars Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - well, whats your shoe size... if you have some big ole guns then you might want to look into a wide park board...

Bzilla09 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - I have one cheap sticker on mine that has stuck well but mostly I just do stencils on my board they work better and stay on forever.
javachip101 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - marine you should get a wide
GoH4bsGo Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - Ok so my NEW board just broke 3 times in a row so I'm thinking of getting a Dominant. I go to a tiny mountain, (with like 3 REAL slopes)all groomed, aboslutely no powder etc. And all I do is go in the park and do rails/boxes and hit a few jump (biggest 30 feet) so should I get a Dom?
psxp1 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - heh.. I took my 159 07 Dom out for a day Heli-Boarding.. did ok :)
Standardtime09 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - I am 5"2' and 95 pounds and i just got a 146 Dom can't wait to ride it. if it snows in PA... :/
taye001 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - Hey PortersLars,I am 5'10" 180-185pds, what size should i get?Gonna be using it for park session, and some mountain riding.154? or 156? or maybe even shorter?
PortersLars Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - Well you are on the higher scale for the board in general... Check the ranges below, but you can try a shorter stick but the chances of it breaking or the board just noodling out really quickly are both strong possibilities. I would advise against going too short but in the end its all about what you want... DOMINANT 56 125 - 175DOMINANT 59 130 - 180
PortersLars Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - 159 or a 156 but the waist is .5cm larger and might hold those big guns you have at bay the 56 might work if you are really only going to ride park since there is a high chance you're gonna drag them wigglers.
psxp1 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - dude.. i'm 5'11", 180+ lbs.. and I ride a Dominant 159.. dont go too short!Mine was great in Pow and backcountry too.. mid-wide helped a lot!
JWPvideoproducts Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - ok im getting a burton dominant, im 122 lbs and 5'3", wat size should i get?
PortersLars Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - if you want it for straight up rails then the 146, maybe a 150 but anything bigger you will be on the high side of the weight scale.
Circa1990 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - Yeah I guess i shoulda thought that throught..But I do take it outside the park and it does okay for the most part.It was an impulse buy of ebay last year when they just came out and I got it for under half price so I'm not too worried about it. Maybe I'll save up and get something more suited to all mountain, cause i'll admit, if the powerder is deep, the dom will effortlessly submarine and have you on your head quick =P
